Arranging funding of £5-50 million, we aim to accelerate growth and maximise potential. Our flexible deal structuring enables us to address the aspirations of management and other shareholders, providing the most appropriate form of capital to each business.

Corran Capital is focused on UK based companies operating nationally and internationally. We target strong financial returns from businesses that also show a commitment to improve their impact on the environment and society.

We currently manage £160 million of capital from institutional and corporate investors. We have invested in two sector leading renewable energy platforms, Renewco Power and Vital Energi.

Renewco Power

Renewco Power, based in Glasgow, develops utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects. Its major projects are in Scotland, with additional projects located in the rest of the UK, Italy and Spain. Renewco Power was formed in 2021 by a highly experienced group of entrepreneurs and renewable energy specialists, including partners from Corran Capital. Renewco Power and Corran Capital work closely to ensure a strong focus on growth, project diversification, fundraising and value creation.

Renewco Power

Vital Energi is the UK's leading provider of heat infrastructure and energy efficiency solutions, specialising in the design, installation and operation of low carbon and renewable technologies. Vital has also built and commissioned an energy from waste plant (Drakelow) and has recently acquired a second, partially constructed, energy from waste plant (Port Clarence) that it is re-purposing to generate power from domestic waste. Vital has over 750 employees and is headquartered in Blackburn, with offices in London, Glasgow and Newcastle. Corran Capital works closely with the management team, particularly on its growth and project fundraising strategies.
